Linda Slechta
I have enjoyed living in this neighborhood for 12+ years. If you've seen a woman walking a small yorkie mix dog that thinks he's a pit bull, that's me. I have so enjoyed getting to know people on my walks around and find this neighborhood a great place to live! I like to work in my yard, paint, crochet and many various other crafts.
I have been retired for 7 years now and do enjoy it. I worked in tech for over 30 years, 18 of which were at Intel as an engineer and engineering manager. I do have good leadership skills and am a great listener. I am competent at all computer skills necessary for being on the board. I have been the board president for this past year and the head of the ARC committee. I've been on the ARC committee for the last 4 years and would like to continue my involvement in that. I feel that the board did a good job this past year getting a new management company on board after so many issues with the old one. I have also been on the perimeter landscape committee, and we'll be getting the new perimeter landscaping started soon. I really enjoy working with everyone to keep our community a wonderful place to live. I would like to continue being a part of the board for 2026.

I’ve lived in Hawthorne Farms for 24 years and feel fortunate to be part of such a strong, caring community. I’m running to help keep our neighborhood thriving and to maintain the high standards that protect our property values and quality of life.
With more than 40 years of experience—from entry level roles to managing multi million dollar operations nationwide—I bring strong leadership, accountability, and problem solving skills. I’ve overseen teams of up to 2,000 employees and managed properties and customer relationships across the country. I hope to use this experience to support our neighborhood and serve our community effectively.

Jan Stevenson
Hi. My name is Jan Stevenson and my husband and I own a home on Stable Dr. on the west side of our community. We have been members in our HOA since Summer of 2023.
I have a technical background. I worked a nearly 40 year career in the high tech industry as a software and firmware engineer. I’m versed in the typical office productivity suites like Microsoft, Google, and Mac products. I’m also experienced in website management and infrastructure, including some proficiency in cloud services as related to website management.
I also have previous HOA board experience from years ago, working on a board that had a community of around 80 condominium units in Santa Clara, California. That experience helped me to understand the inner workings of policy and procedure of how HOA management of a complex works.
I’m presently a member of the ARC community for our HOA.
